Dynamic page titles and metadata - phpnuke
Saturday, March 6th, 2004Found an old script called DYNMETAKEYS 1.1.2 that generates dynamic Meta tags and another called SN Dynamic Titles Addon that generates dynamic page titles, both for PHP-Nuke 6.x (haven’t tried them on 7.x though - should work with minor modification). I’ve modified and updated both and put them live on Belchfire.net (these downloads are of the original files). It will be interesting to see if/how my page rankings are effected. Inktomi seems to weight more heavily on these than other search engines. Will keep you posted on the results.
Previously all pages on Belchfire.net had the very same Meta keywords and description, which wasn’t necessarily relevant to specific pages.
