A few new Invision Skins sites
The links in my previous Where are all the Invision skins article are getting a bit stale. So here are a few additional sites I’ve come across in the last few weeks:
- Skin by Dragonfly - Only a few skins so far but their newest named ‘Dark Techno - Acid’ is exactly as descripted; “A Gorgeous dark and moody skin”. Also some talent in the form of Peaches and Dragonfly, formerly of the now closed IBSkinned.com. So expecting good things going forward. On my watch list.
- Invision Skins - Needs a better site name but five good free skins you’ve probably seen here and there. Keeps pretty close to the default IPB skin layout but some nice variances here.
- IPB Forum Skins - Known to some previously as Enhanced Pixels, Groffy has the type of clean look I prefer. Check out their Dimension series. Oh, also has some great Tutorials for those interested in creating their own skins, and will do custom skins.
- Invision Power France - In French, but when I was able to login has many free skins in both English and French. Haven’t been able to login in a few months but worth checking out if you can manage to register in order to download anything.
- Zorcean Studios - Seems to be new. A few commmercial skins but appears they’re working on adding many more. Lots of animation and more eye candy that I think many of us are used to. Have a look if you like that sort of thing.
- IBSkin - A few commercial skins. I wouldn’t say over the top, but better than most. Invision skinning doesn’t seem to be their primary focus so not expecting much new from these folks, but time will tell…
- GirlieGeeks - CrustyGeeks’s new site. Look in the Downloads section.
- IBSkinworks - Some great work here and very reasonably priced.
If you want your skin site listed here let me know. Perhaps I’ll put a proper directory together at some point.

James,
Thanks very much for listing SbyD and your kind words. You may want to update this as I know quite a few sites, us included, have expanded ranges and have more options for those wanting a pre-made skin for their Invision board.
We are particular keen on our new Cleanskin range, first one is available “chablis”, with a number of others coming up over the next few weeks.
Cheers,
Jethro (Community Admin SbyD).
